Position Overview We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of an expanding team of imaging professionals committed to delivering top-notch patient care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside a cooperative team of healthcare providers, and offer reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each step with kindness and clarity
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any equipment issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Up-to-date certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient in technical sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting
