Hammocks Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to lead our growing veterinary team in Miami, Florida. As Medical Director, you will help shape the clinical vision of the hospital, support team development, and drive a culture of collaboration and excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead and uphold medical quality standards and patient care protocols
• Mentor associate veterinarians and support staff
• Partner with hospital leadership on recruiting, training, and team development

• Help guide clinical protocols, workflows, and hospital growth initiatives
• Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on clinical practice

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Passion for medical excellence, coaching, and hospital growth

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
