Kids Apparel Buyer

We’re seeking a strategic, consumer-focused Apparel Buyer to help shape assortments for a growing kids category. This role blends retail expertise, analytical rigor, and strong cross-functional partnership to deliver compelling product strategies and drive performance. Responsibilities Develop seasonal assortment strategies informed by consumer insights, market trends, and business performance. Determine unit investment, buy depth, and product mix to optimize current and future seasons. Recap business weekly against forecast; analyze inventory and identify actionable opportunities. Partner with allocation, site merchandising, and cross-functional teams to ensure seasonal readiness. Lead classification and portfolio management efforts to support long‑term business growth. Build strong partnerships across internal teams and key external stakeholders. Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in retail buying, planning, merchandising, or product management. Strong understanding of retail metrics, forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning. Ability to turn data and consumer insights into clear business recommendations. Strategic mindset with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Proven ability to influence cross‑functional partners and drive alignment.
