The guest’s experience is very important to us - they're why we keep doing what we're doing. At Goode Company the Busser is key to making that happen. You understand the fine balance of service and help provide exceptional service to our customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner. The Busser resets dining room tables to maximize prompt table availability for our guests, removes plates, glassware, and silverware when guests have completed their meal, as well as quickly and efficiently re-sets and re-stocks the table for new guests. Our Bussers are polite and friendly to guests, and co-workers alike, and understand the importance of maintaining Goode Company's high sanitation standards. You keep your workstation clean and sanitary at all times, because you know it is a direct reflection on you.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and previous experience is preferred. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, hospitality skills and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sets up dining areas before beginning shift and cleans dining areas after
• Clears tables of used dishes, glasses, and silverware and re-sets between customers
• Assist service staff with maintaining non-alcoholic beverages for all guests.
• Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner including the dining room, server stations, patio, and dish pit.
• Delivers cleaned glassware from the dish area to appropriate location in the front of the house
• Assist service staff in providing the best guest experience
• Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
• Present a professional and clean appearance at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
• Previous experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
• Able to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nuestros Bussers son amables y respetuosos tanto con nuestros clientes como con sus compañeros de trabajo y comprenden la importancia de mantener los altos estándares de limpieza y sanidad de Goode Company. Mantienes tu área de trabajo limpia y en condiciones sanitarias en todo momento porque sabes que es un reflejo directo de tu trabajo.

El candidato ideal para esta posición cuenta preferiblemente con un diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente y experiencia previa. Se requieren buenas habilidades de comunicación, manejo del tiempo, hospitalidad y una presentación, comunicación y comportamiento profesionales.

• Preparar las áreas del comedor antes de comenzar el turno y limpiarlas al finalizar.

• Retirar de las mesas los platos, vasos y cubiertos usados y volver a preparar las mesas entre clientes.

• Ayudar al personal de servicio a mantener abastecidas las bebidas sin alcohol de todos los clientes.

• Mantener las áreas de trabajo limpias, ordenadas y organizadas, incluyendo el comedor, las estaciones de los meseros, el patio y el área de lavado de platos.

• Llevar los vasos limpios desde el área de lavado hasta las ubicaciones correspondientes en el área de servicio.

• Ayudar al personal de servicio a brindar la mejor experiencia posible a nuestros clientes.

• Cumplir con todas las normas y prácticas de seguridad y sanidad.

• Mantener una apariencia limpia y profesional en todo momento.

• Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente, preferiblemente.

• Experiencia previa, preferiblemente.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita.

• Capacidad para agacharse, arrodillarse, ponerse en cuclillas, permanecer de pie y levantar objetos pesados según sea necesario.

• Actitud servicial y trato amable.

• Conocimiento general de prácticas de seguridad y sanidad.

• Disponibilidad para trabajar durante el día, por la noche, fines de semana y días festivos.
