Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of industrial equipment and facility systems. This role requires a strong electrical maintenance background and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical and utility systems. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to install electrical wiring to a bus rail and work on other High Voltage equipment.
• Given a complex mechanical task and be able to carry it out with little supervision.
• Working knowledge of the plant’s unique equipment and the ability to work on any equipment on site.
• Maintain and setup electronic and mechanical fuel injection systems on test equipment.
• Build and troubleshoot various test stands using schematics or blueprints.
• Understands instrumentation such as pressure gages, flow-meters, etc.
• Works accurately with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow scientific methods and standard procedures.
• Compiles written records and makes preliminary reports of test results.

Required Qualifications

• Must have 10 years of electrical experience or more.
• Must be experienced in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining High Voltage equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. MS Office applications.
• Familiar with pressure gauges, thermocouples, torque wrenches, timers, temperature indicators, pressure transducers and fuel flow measuring systems.
• Background with repairing electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical test stands.
• Diesel engine experience, preferred.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Electrician
• Associates Degree or Technical Certification in Automotive, diesel engine technology.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
