This role drives proactive procurement strategies that ensure continuity of supply for production and aftermarket needs while balancing cost, quality, delivery, and long-term business objectives, The Obsolescence Buyer partners closely with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Procurement, and suppliers to identify at-risk components early, develop mitigation plans, and execute effective sourcing strategies. Responsibilities include managing last-time buys, alternate sourcing, supplier negotiations, RFPs, cost analysis, purchase orders, and delivery assurance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
