Apartment Assistant Maintenance (Non Certified)  

BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in North Hollywood, Ca 91606 . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional community, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with professionalism. 

Pay: $24/hr

Schedule: M-F 8-5

Start Date: 8.31.26 | Contract ‑ to ‑ Hire Opportunity

Responsibilities  

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally 
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including: 
• Basic plumbing repairs 
• Electrical troubleshooting 
• Appliance diagnostics and repair 
• Carpentry, drywall, and general upkeep 
• Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation 
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities 
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude 
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards 

Requirements  

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred 
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions 
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently 
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented 
• Strong communication and customer service skills
