Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist

Role: Laboratory Scientist responsible for performing and interpreting routine and specialized lab tests to support diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities: Prepares and analyzes specimens, conducts quality control, maintains equipment, and ensures regulatory compliance. Participates in performance improvement, manages inventory, and maintains patient confidentiality. Adapts communication to patient needs and supports safety protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in medical technology or related field. Valid Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license or equivalent, with certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) within 90 days. Skills: Proficient in computer applications, communication, analytical thinking, good judgment, and interpersonal skills. Key Duties: Conduct tests accurately, troubleshoot equipment, document results, comply with safety and regulatory standards, and participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives. Physical demands include handling objects up to 100 pounds and working in environments with potential exposure to infectious materials and hazardous waste.
