Position Summary The First Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for leading frontline production operations while executing plant objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, and people development. This role provides direct leadership to 20–60 hourly associates, including full‑time and temporary employees, and is accountable for building a strong safety culture, driving performance, and ensuring consistent service to our healthcare partners. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for a supervisor who enjoys being present on the floor, developing people, and driving results in a fast‑paced industrial environment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals Supervise, coach, and develop production associates to promote engagement, accountability, and teamwork Enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and Novo standards Maintain a strong safety‑first culture and proactively address hazards and unsafe behaviors Ensure production schedules are met while optimizing labor utilization and workflow efficiency Monitor quality standards to ensure products meet Novo and customer requirements Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to address operational issues and improve performance Support onboarding, training, and performance management of production staff Secondary Responsibilities Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage planning Track and communicate key production and safety metrics Support standard work, audits, and compliance initiatives Required Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environment Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols Proven experience leading hourly teams and supporting employee development Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment Why Novo Purpose‑driven work that supports patient care and healthcare operations Stable first‑shift leadership opportunity Collaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety and people development Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding healthcare services organization What we can offer you as a full‑time associate: Competitive pay Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Program (PTO) 401(k) w/Employer Match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Medical, Dental, and Vision Programs Basic Life/AD&D Insurance Long‑Term Disability (LTD) Why work for Novo Health Services?
