We are currently seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative hospital-based generalist rehabilitation team in Washington . This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across inpatient hospital services, providing evaluation and treatment for a variety of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Position Overview As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and other rehabilitation professionals to provide individualized, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech-language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide treatment for speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Perform bedside swallowing evaluations and participate in instrumental assessments as appropriate. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, compensatory strategies, and home programs. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements. Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental programs. Maintain compliance with Washington state licensure requirements and professional standards of practice. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Washington Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility for licensure through the Washington State Department of Health. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Clinical Fellows who meet Washington state provisional licensure requirements are encouraged to apply. Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills. Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
