Quality Engineer L3Location - Cliffton, NJ (Onsite)Duration - 8+ months (Possible chances of conversion)Shift - Monday – FridayPay Range - $30-$50 on W2Job DescriptionQuality Assurance Engineer/Subject Matter Expert with comprehensive knowledge of aerospace and DoD business area and in-depth knowledge of project management. Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. Provides develops and implements quality protocols and is accountable for compliance with all government, customer, regulatory and company requirements. Work is guided by individual annual goals and objectives with minimal oversight or direction. Delivers mission success and excellence throughout the integrated product lifecycle resulting in defect-free work products and delighted customers.Essential FunctionsEstablishes robust quality evaluation and control systems for assembly, integration and test of complex electronic & mechanical assembliesLeads support activities across programs ranging from hardware inspections, evaluation of incoming material, electrical test and inspection of build of assembliesExpert with FRB/MRB activities, overseeing issue closure and strategic cross-company implementation of systemic preventive corrective actionsExpert RCCA practitioner of problem-solving methodologiesStrong performance history with generating professional presentations, technical reports and in-depth case studiesUses metrics to identify signals and initiate tactical course corrections and manages key performance areas (KPIs) to meet established goalsResponsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees related to all quality processesInitiates complex projects and leads continuous improvement activities including driving ZDP execution in accordance with business strategyCommunicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., DCMA, prime customers, key vendors, etc.) when necessarySupports team efforts to achieve efficient resolution of issues without compromise to quality.QualificationsRequires comprehensive level knowledge of job area.May have in-depth knowledge of project management.Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.Security Clearance required upon hire: Ability to ObtainSecurity Clearance required for role: Ability to ObtainIPC 610 and J-Std experienceExperience support depot and working with DCMACustomer interface is requiredPreferred Additional SkillsExpert with Oracle AGILE systemSix sigma blackbelt certifiedExpertise with IPC standards for hi-performance soldering, coating, connector assemblyExpert understanding of AS9100Microsoft Office proficiencyCAM/ BOE/Propsoal Experience
