Associate

Prestigious Education and Municipal Law firm with offices throughout New York State seeks an established Associate Attorney with an emphasis on Education Law, higher education, and public sector labor matters for its Farmingdale office. The associate will gain experience in a wide array of matters, including litigation, labor and employment law, constitutional issues, open meetings law, and other fields.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Research issues and draft client memoranda on day to day matters affecting public school districts including both general and labor counsel.

· Prepare cases for hearing/trial

· Participate in administrative hearings

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Professional, concise and responsive communication with clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
