Job Description

Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Meriden, CT
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $17/hr or more, based on experience

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior manufacturing experience who is comfortable operating machinery, performing quality inspections, and working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and shut down production equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
Monitor machine performance and production output
Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and machine adjustments
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication as required
Maintain a safe and organized work area

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience required
Experience operating production machinery
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
