The hospital features a state-of-the-art 34-bed Level III NICU with advanced neonatal care capabilities and supports approximately 1,500-2,000 annual deliveries. The facility is known for its collaborative clinical environment and commitment to evidence-based protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Neonatology

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 34-bed Level III NICU with wide range of acuity and case complexity
• Work within a collaborative team of 2 Neonatologists and 4 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP)
• Conduct daily neonatal rounds and manage patient care plans
• Oversee and support 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
• Participate in home call coverage after completing daily rounds
• Manage newborn nursery rounds as part of patient care responsibilities
• Support approximately 1,500-2,000 annual deliveries
• Provide coverage for in-house patients while NNP-led transport team manages neonatal transports
• Deliver care aligned with evidence-based protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a collegial and supportive clinical environment
• Structured 7-on/7-off schedule promoting work-life balance
• Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neonatology
• Requires Louisiana medical license and clean malpractice/license history
• Full-time permanent position requiring local residency
