Automotive Service Advisor

We have an opening for a Service Advisor at Bob Bell Nissan / Kia! We are looking for individuals who want a career in the Automotive Industry not a job! An individual who excels in customer service and wants an opportunity to grow in Baltimore’s Best family-owned automotive group. Service Advisor Responsibilities & Qualifications: Customer Interaction & Customer Service: A friendly, helpful, and professional attitude is crucial for creating a positive customer experience.Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and maintain consistent communication throughout the service process. Vehicle Assessment: Help determine vehicle issues by questioning the customer, performing visual inspections, and coordinating with technicians. Technical Communication: Explain vehicle problems and recommended services in a clear, understandable way to customers. Repair Coordination: Prepare repair orders, provide accurate cost and time estimates, and obtain customer approval for all work. Sales and Follow-Up: Schedule appointments, manage work orders, and upsell additional products or services when appropriate and follow up with customers to maintain relationships. Automotive Knowledge: A strong understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance is necessary to effectively communicate with technicians and advise customers. Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage schedules is vital. Computer Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and attention to detail required. Experience with automotive service software such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus. Experience: Proven experience in a service advisor role or a similar customer service position within the automotive industry of at least 2 years.
