Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,079 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Elyria, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Elyria, OH. The right Rad Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. Tasks As a Rad Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions Calibrate imaging equipment Prepare results for Physician to review Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Rad Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Requirements*: ARRT (R), BLS, 2 Years * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
