This is a strong role for an RN seeking a high-acuity hospital setting with meaningful patient impact, strong support, and exposure to complex oncology care. The RN will care for oncology patients in an inpatient acute care environment while working closely with physicians, APPs, palliative care teams, and the broader nursing staff. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong acute care fundamentals who is interested in cancer care, hematology/oncology, and complex inpatient medicine. What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care in an inpatient oncology / acute care setting Perform assessments, care planning, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring Support patients receiving cancer-related treatment and symptom management Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and related treatments as trained Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and palliative care teams Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care needs, and discharge planning Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate continuity of care What We’re Looking For Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of RN experience preferred in acute care, med-surg, oncology, hematology/oncology, or inpatient hospital nursing Strong assessment, documentation, and patient coordination skills Interest in or experience with oncology, cancer care, or complex adult medicine BLS certification required; oncology-related certifications are a plus Comfortable in a structured, fast-paced inpatient hospital environment Schedule / Compensation / Benefits Inpatient hospital setting Compensation: $35–$49/hr Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus Up to $25,000 loan forgiveness Relocation assistance available Full-time benefits package Continued education and certification support Interested in hearing more?
