This exciting position offers the chance to work with diverse populations throughout the entire lifespan within a setting that adeptly combines outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient support. Whether your passion lies in pediatric language development, adult communication disorders, or geriatric cognitive rehabilitation, you will find the flexibility and fulfillment you've been seeking.
Description
- Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and keen observational methods.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to address both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that focus on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, patients, and their families to create integrated care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and their families to encourage progress beyond clinical visits.
- Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient's journey.
- Keep precise and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Remain knowledgeable about advancements in the field through continuous education and peer interactions.
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified yet.
Certifications
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Skills
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods appropriate for all ages, with a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders stemming from both developmental and acquired conditions.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ability to adjust therapy techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong clinical judgment and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable with electronic health records and stringent documentation requirements.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation reflective of your experience.
- Flexible scheduling options, promoting healthy work-life balance and diverse caseloads.
- Potential to specialize in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage options.
- Support for continuing education and professional growth.
- A collaborative, team-oriented environment that emphasizes quality care and lifelong learning.
A Journey That Moves You and Moves with You
In this role, your contribution transcends speech therapy; you will weave into the very fabric of a community dedicated to rejuvenating voices, enhancing communication, and celebrating life's most cherished moments through understanding.
As part of this close-knit team, you will work alongside clinicians who take pride in nurturing each other, valuing collaboration over rivalry. Each patient possesses a unique story; we trust you to play a pivotal role in narrating it.
Why You Will Adore Living and Working Here

Who We Are Seeking
We're on the lookout for a Speech Language Therapist who is driven by both outcomes and empathy; someone who can visualize the potential in a reserved child, dreaming of self-expression, and who can hear the resolute determination within the speech of a stroke survivor.
You could be a pediatric expert keen to extend your practice to adult therapy or a clinician focused on neuro rehabilitation aiming to integrate early interventions into your repertoire.
Whatever your focus is, if you possess a heart for service and a strong skill set, we are eager to embrace you as part of our team.
Let's Discover the Right Words Together
If you believe that speech transcends mere sound, and therapy is more than just performing tasks; if you prioritize trust-building before goal-setting, and value laughter as much as language, this could be the defining chapter in your professional journey.
Join us in a community that celebrates the art of communication, the strength of connection, and the bravery involved in starting anew. Apply today to lend your voice to our mission and help others to find theirs.
