Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, proceeding with diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, recurring, or chronic health issues independently or in collaboration with physicians as necessary
• Providing education to patients and their families on preventive health, wellness, and managing chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications and therapeutics as permitted by your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to foster continued, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Necessary Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days)
