Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medically complex and surgically delicate patients in a Progressive Critical Care Unit, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Manage advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per titration protocols; administer antihypertensive drips, sedative drips, Narcan drips, and thrombolytics
• Monitor and manage patients on A-line, CVP, EVD, and orthopedic traction; implement infection prevention protocols
• Operate and monitor respiratory support equipment including HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen-dependent devices
• Maintain an average patient load of 3 high-acuity patients per shift
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR (experience required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Competency in care of both medical and surgical adult patient populations
• Must wear navy blue scrubs per facility dress code
• Candidates from ineligible local counties are not being accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in large-scale adult PCU settings or community hospital ICU experience
• Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and titration protocols
• Experience managing patients on HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and complex drip therapies
