Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Medical Technologist/MT/MLS Position

Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) needed as soon as possible. The client will not consider MLT traveler candidates. Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. The EMR system used is Cerner. The dress code is personal scrubs of any color. This is a critical access hospital. Minimum of two years of current Medical Technologist/MT/MLS experience is required. Ability to work independently and hit the ground running is required. High proficiency in testing in all areas of the lab (must be an MT generalist) is required. High proficiency in phlebotomy, chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, and reading Gram stains/plate culture specimens in microbiology is required. Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience is required, phlebotomy checklist required! ASCP BLS (AHA) Travel experience is highly preferred. This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement. Permanent address must be included in profile. Any/all RTO must be included in profile in order to be considered.
