Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting within a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as part of routine clinical duties
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as needed
• Perform triage and manage a high patient volume; expected ratios of 1:5–6, with the possibility of up to 1:8 during high-census periods or holidays
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• Document clinical care using EPIC EMR ; training completed during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN License (compact license not accepted; MI license must be active by start date)
• ACLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• BLS/BCLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIH certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• All certifications must be active by contract start date; no pending certifications accepted
• Availability to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule; may be scheduled for 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission; no additional RTO requests will be approved after submission. Blackout dates apply: 10/31 and 12/18–12/28
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience
• Triage experience in an emergency setting
