Position Overview:
Paradigm Recovery Center is a startup behavioral health treatment center providing structured outpatient services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The Facilities Manager oversees the safety, maintenance, and operational readiness of the physical environment in support of clinical programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Maintenance:
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility, grounds, and equipment
• Perform or coordinate routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections
• Ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems are operational
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment
Safety & Compliance:
• Support compliance with Missouri regulations and life safety standards
• Conduct routine safety and environmental checks
• Monitor fire safety equipment, exits, lighting, and alarms
• Assist with emergency preparedness and safety drills
Vendor & Contractor Management:
• Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and services
• Obtain quotes and oversee completion of work
• Maintain maintenance and inspection records
Inventory & Supplies:
• Manage facility-related inventory, tools, and supplies
• Assist with ordering and replacement of equipment
• Support room setup and space reconfiguration
Collaboration & Communication:
• Communicate facility needs and safety concerns to leadership
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
• Support daily facility readiness
Program Development (Startup Environment):
• Assist with facility build-out and space planning
• Support survey and inspection readiness
• Maintain flexibility in a startup setting
Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in facilities maintenance or property management
• Knowledge of basic building systems and safety practices
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with life safety and OSHA standards
• Experience supporting inspections or audits
Schedule Expectations:
• Primarily weekday hours with occasional evenings/weekends
• On-call availability for urgent needs may be required
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks
• Ability to respond to facility emergencies promptly
