Job Description As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Bloomington, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will use communication and customer service skills while documenting security-related activity using a computer or tablet. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue02:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed02:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur02:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri02:00 AM - 09:00 AMSun06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, business perimeter, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
