Material Specialist

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing organization, is seeking Material Handlers to join their dedicated team. As a Material Handler , you will be part of the production support team within the chemical manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Material Handler Location: Cincinnati, OH Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.00/hour (flexible based on experience) Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) 2-2-3 rotating schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, repeat). This includes working every other weekend. What's the Job? Operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts to transport raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently. Move supersacks and bulk materials into warehouse storage after processing. Operate manufacturing equipment including supersack machines, hoppers, and filling systems. Perform washouts, equipment changeovers, and basic maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy, adhering to safety and quality standards. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift experience required. Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and instructions. Basic computer skills required for documentation and inventory tracking. What's in it for me?
