Shift: 8H Days, Monday-Friday, 0700-1500 with rotating call

Hours/Week: 40

Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, valid driver's license

Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience, at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab within the past year

Hourly Rate: $67.00

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled patient care in a busy Cath Lab environment, performing complex coronary and peripheral vascular procedures
• Operate imaging systems and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, laser atherectomy, and more
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor patients, ensuring safety and adherence to sterile techniques
• Administer vasoactive and sedative drugs, monitor hemodynamics, and support critical patient assessments
• Float between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier facilities, providing coverage for diverse cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support charge nurses in daily operations
• Participate in orientation, precepting, and continuous quality improvement activities

What You Need

• Required:
  • Valid RN license and BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 3 years RN experience, with at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab environments
  • Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Strong skills in sterile technique, vasoactive drugs, sedation, and critical assessment
  • Driver's license for facility floating
• Preferred:
  • Experience with advanced imaging and monitoring systems (e.g., Merge hemodynamic)
  • Knowledge of equipment like Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, and laser atherectomy
  • RCIS certification is a plus

About the Assignment This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume, technologically advanced Cardiac Catheterization Lab, performing both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. You will float between facilities, supporting complex procedures from coronary to neuro interventions, and help deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting.
