Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist located in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, managing shipping and receiving processes, packing and unpacking materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely unloading and organization of items. The role will also involve forklift operation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes and effective Packing techniques
- Strong skills in Inventory Control and organization
- Experience with Unloading and handling shipments
- Competency in Forklift Operation with appropriate certification (if applicable)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles is a plus
