Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:15–06:45) | Every 3rd Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to a primary patient population including COPD and pneumonia cases in an acute care setting
• Operate and manage ventilators including Puritan Bennett 840 and Nihon Kohden NKV-330 models
• Support a combined unit floor housing all patient beds, including a 2–3 bed ICU
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities as needed
• Work night shift coverage when requested to backfill absences on that shift

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT); pending state license accepted for submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (must be through the American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Willingness to work every third weekend
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical exemption with documented allergist or physician record may be accepted
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records charting system
• Familiarity with ICU-level respiratory care and ventilator management
• Experience in a high-volume emergency or surgical environment
