Accounting Manager - Hybrid

Job Description
A well-established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close, treasury functions, payroll, partner-related accounting, and financial reporting while managing and developing a team.
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\n• Manage and mentor accounting staff and oversee daily accounting operations
\n• Lead the monthly close process, journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
\n• Oversee banking, treasury, cash reporting, and escrow account activities
\n• Manage payroll, 401(k) funding, partner expenses, and related accounting
\n• Review financial reports and assist with audits and annual financial statement reviews
\n• Support accounting system upgrades, implementations, and special projects
\n• Work closely with attorneys, partners, banking institutions, and internal leadership
\n \nQualifications:
\n• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n• 4+ years of accounting experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience
\n• Professional services or law firm accounting experience required
\n• Experience with Aderant or Elite required
\n• Strong Excel skills; Ceridian and Chrome River experience a plus
\n• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
