Patient Access Rep 1

Job Description Job Responsibilities Process patient preadmission and admission demographic and insurance data. Enter information into the hospital computer system. Maintain quality control for each preadmission and admission to ensure accuracy of information. Act as liaison between patients, financial counselors, and hospital patient accounting. Ensure that all state, federal and MUSC policies and procedures are followed. Function in the Patient Admissions Department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.
