The Market Basket, northern New Jersey's premier gourmet food destination in affluent Franklin Lakes, NJ, is seeking a highly experienced Butcher. The successful candidate's tasks will involve all facets of meat and poultry processing activities, invoking your creative talents to design oven ready entrees, provide exemplary customer service and sharing your knowledge with our wonderful customers. Address customers' needs with a courteous, friendly attitude and a smile.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years in butcher experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and push 50 pounds
- Strong knife skills
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
- Teamwork abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that include weekends, nights and holidays as needed.
