Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30), varying as procedures require completion.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in EP lab procedures and demonstrate expertise in various cardiac monitoring and intervention processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and assist with electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and patient vital signs.
• Perform activated clotting time (ACT) assessments and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Circulate and scrub during EP lab procedures.
• Obtain and interpret 12 lead EKGs/ECGs.
• Administer emergency medications as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EP lab setting.
• Current South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Experience with procedures such as cardioversion and vascular closure systems.
• Must provide radiation badge during employment.
