Youth Education Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
$200kCrossover for Work
On-site locations: Beverly Hills, CA; Piedmont, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Seattle, WA (relocation assistance available) $200,000 annually, paid weekly | Full health, dental, and vision coverage from day one The most valuable thing you can offer a student who achieves 99% is the refusal to accept it as 100%. Not from apathy — but from a conviction that they're capable of reaching it, and that lowering expectations is the true disservice. If this reasoning resonates, continue reading. If it feels too demanding, this position will not align. Students at Alpha don't passively absorb lectures. They advance through adaptive digital platforms at double the speed of conventional classrooms while simultaneously developing practical life competencies. Your role is to ensure three commitments are fulfilled for every child in your group: they enjoy school, they progress at 2x speed, and they acquire skills beyond any textbook. You will also develop the Guides who deliver these same outcomes throughout your campus. Every choice is grounded in data, and every day is in-person. You divide your time between your own student group and the Guides you mentor — holding the same standard for both: quantifiable advancement, without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you don't file documentation; you observe, debrief, and resolve it that same day. You’ll witness reserved students present with confidence to adults. You’ll see a child who once "despised school" request extra time. And you'll recognize that the standard you maintained is precisely what enabled their growth, because upholding expectations is how you demonstrate belief in their potential. You may be establishing a new campus from the ground up and setting the foundational culture that will shape the school. As the campus evolves, your role transitions from hands‑on operator to coaching leader, building the team that expands Alpha's approach across your region. What You Will Be Doing Facilitating one-hour live workshops focused on life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) with K‑8 students, covering areas such as public speaking and concentration, using Alpha's established curriculum framework Conducting daily motivational sessions designed to ensure 100% of students reach their weekly application-based goals through age-suitable incentives including school currency and leaderboards Developing Guides via direct observation, specific feedback, and practical training to ensure they execute workshops with equivalent energy and accuracy Analyzing Coachbot data and individual student records to pinpoint which students require intervention, then providing direct support Directly mentoring your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum content. Students progress through adaptive applications; your responsibility is ensuring the people supporting them excel. Delivering traditional classroom lectures. You're 80% performer, 20% content expert; if standing at a whiteboard appeals to you, this role isn't the right fit. Compromising standards due to pressure from parents or school leadership. When a student achieves 99%, the response is "not yet" — and you'll receive full support to maintain that expectation. Spending time in an office processing administrative tasks. The majority of your day involves direct interaction with students and Guides. Waiting extended periods for performance evaluation. Data is available in real time through Coachbot, and adjustments are made immediately. Youth Education Manager Key Responsibilities Execute Alpha's 3 Promises for both your student cohort and the Guides under your leadership: every child enjoys school, advances at 2x the standard pace, and develops authentic life skills.
