As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage visitor and credential access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to authorized areas. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
