As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter. Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and policy violations, helping to deter loss‑related incidents and supporting a welcoming shopping environment. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
