Job Details

• Location: Doylestown, PA (18901) - Hospital mammography position in Bucks County, Pennsylvania
• Setting: Hospital radiology / breast imaging department
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 9, 2026
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:30am-6:00pm; Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend required during the contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Certified Mammography Technologist with current mammography certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a mammography tech in a clinical or hospital setting
• Current Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in mammography / breast imaging
• Ability to provide training documentation and a record of mammograms completed in the last 24 months
• Strong focus on patient safety, comfort, privacy, and effective communication

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammographic imaging in accordance with established protocols and quality assurance standards
• Operate digital mammography equipment, optimize image quality, and maintain accurate imaging records (PACS/EMR documentation)
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process, including patient positioning and education
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures performed and assist with QA/QA documentation for breast imaging services
• Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care and support diagnostic workflows
• Stay current with continuing education, best practices in mammography, and regulatory requirements for mammography services
