Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator – Supply Chain – Manhasset. In this role the successful candidate will assist CSC management in the control and ongoing evaluation of inventory for perioperative services and perform necessary tasks to ensure the clinical/surgical staff receive all items on a timely and efficient basis to perform their procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system and ensuring inventory items are tracked, distributed, and maintained in compliance with department and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the supply/implant levels of the assigned area, including ordering, tracking and restocking, monitoring, review and removal of expired or obsolete items, and establishing appropriate reorder points. Maintain and update the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system, including removal of expired or obsolete items, new item set‑up, adjustment of PARS and reorder points, and processing changes requested by clinical management. Limit and manage out‑of‑stock issues through coordination with CSC, clinical management, and the warehouse team, communicating issues and resolutions in a timely fashion. Complete a monthly expiration audit, remove expired items, alert clinical management, and process orders to replenish supplies. Verify receipt of orders and identify non‑receipt items, coordinating with purchasing and warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies. Demonstrate the ability to monitor, audit, and enhance the quality of the supply‑chain process, exercising good judgement, decision‑making, time‑management, and initiative. Use appropriate communication in all interactions, demonstrating proper telephone and email etiquette and integrity, accountability, and reliability. Perform other duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 0‑1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Strong inventory‑control skills with 0‑1 year of progressive work experience in supply distribution. Extensive customer‑service skills, computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience. 1‑2 years of EPIC/patient scheduling experience. Experience in computerized inventory control with emphasis on medical/surgical supplies. Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management operations. Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP).
