Job Title - SQE

Duration - 6 months

Need Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to manage supplier quality activities for elevator components including mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated parts.

This role involves supplier qualification, process audits, product validation, problem solving, and continuous improvement across the supplier base.

• Elevator components (Mechanical, Electrical, electromechanical & Fabrication)
• Motors, brakes, door operators, sensors, controllers, and safety devices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with elevator, escalator, industrial equipment, building systems, automotive, heavy equipment, or electromechanical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of:
• • Mechanical components
  • Electrical assemblies
  • Electromechanical products
  • Fabricated and welded structures
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with dimensional inspection and measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including:
• • CNC machining
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • Welding
  • Casting
  • Forging
  • Surface finishing
  • Powder coating
  • Assembly processes
• Familiarity with electrical manufacturing processes including:
• • PCB assembly
  • Cable harnesses
  • Switches
  • Sensors
  • Motors
  • Electrical testing
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or ISO 19011).
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and FAI.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience working with ERP and quality management systems.
