Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse located in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves working in a fast-paced trauma environment, managing critical care procedures, and providing high-quality patient care across a diverse patient population. The position requires a minimum of three years of ER experience and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia; ER experience of at least 3 years; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired; Cerner experience required; certifications including NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma or emergency settings; strong skills in critical care procedures such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes.
• Additional Information: The ED treats a wide variety of patient cases, including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma patients. The RN will coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex needs to ensure safety, quality, and a positive patient experience. Must reside within 50 miles of the facility location.
