Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Duties
Help
- Performs magnetic resonance imaging of heads, spines, extremities, and bodies.
- Positions patient and produces necessary images for the requested examination.
- Assists in the triage of scheduling patients.
- Confers with the radiologist to establish the requirements for non-standard examinations.
- Advises radiologist of results or examinations.
- Administers emergency medicinal injections under the direction of the physician in charge.
- Performs preventative maintenance as required.
- Maintains permanent records of scans on optical disks and film library.
