HR Coordinator

Location: Hybrid – Prattville, AL

Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 20 hours per week

Required Availability: Flexible schedule

In-Office Requirement: Hybrid; must be available to work in person a few days a week while training (once training is complete this is a 100% remote role)

The Role

You will work alongside a Senior HR Consultant as her day-to-day partner on a portfolio of client accounts. You will keep recruiting, benefits, offboarding, and employee requests moving, keep clients updated, and handle the documentation that keeps each account compliant. Our clients expect fast turnaround, so this role suits someone who owns a request from start to finish and doesn't let things sit.

What You'll Do

• Recruiting coordination: post jobs on Indeed and ZipRecruiter, screen applicants, schedule interviews, send shortlists and status updates to hiring managers, and track every requisition and candidate in our project platform
• Employee requests: answer and route questions about pay, PTO, benefits, and system access, and escalate anything complex
• Benefits administration: process enrollments, changes, and terminations (including ICHRA and COBRA), support open enrollment, and respond to carrier and PEO requests
• Offboarding: coordinate equipment returns, remove system access, terminate benefits, and send final-day details
• Agency notices: log and route state tax, unemployment, Social Security, garnishment, and registered agent notices, and follow each one until it is resolved
• ER documentation: draft written warnings, PIPs, memos, and separation agreements for consultant review, and keep case notes current
• Client updates: send regular status updates to client contacts so no one has to ask where something stands
• Compliance projects: audit employee files, collect missing documents through e-signature, and track training requirements such as harassment prevention
• Project upkeep: keep tasks, notes, and weekly projects current and closed out, and write updates on each task as you go
