Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Ganado, AZ 86505
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 8×5
Employment Type: Contract
We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the safe and efficient processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment in a healthcare setting. The technician will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, inspecting, and preparing instruments and supplies for medical procedures while following established infection-control and safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities- Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Assemble instrument trays and ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage.
- Maintain accurate sterilization, processing, and equipment records.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure sterile supplies are properly stored and readily available for procedures.
- Identify and report damaged or improperly functioning instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sterile processing work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
