Maintenance TechnicianThis position will report to the Supervisor. Travel Requirement: None. Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Employment Category: Full Time - Regular. To learn more, please visit You'll Be Responsible For In This RoleThis role contributes to Evolution Fresh success by ensuring that plant equipment is repaired and maintained in a timely manner. Models and acts in accordance with Evolution Fresh guiding principles.Assists maintenance team and supports all aspects of the maintenance department as needed, including general building and grounds maintenanceAssists with the installation of all new equipmentCompletes plant work orders, part lists, and preventive maintenanceEnsures all plant equipment is functioning at optimum levels by performing short-term repairs and long-term improvementsCompletes tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirementsUnderstands and follows established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidentsSupports food safety, legality, and quality programsMaintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality proceduresPerforms other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Evolution Fresh Mission & ValuesMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityOther duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:High School/GED or one to two years' experience in related field or combination of both education and experienceAutomated manufacturing or distribution environment (5 years)General industrial maintenance and electrical systems (5 years)Additional Required Qualifications:Basic math proficiency with strong attention to detailWorking knowledge of welding, plumbing, machining, and general mechanical systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical plant equipment and interpret technical equipment manualsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical and operational issuesAbility to work independently, prioritize workload, and make sound decisions with minimal supervisionAbility to safely work in elevated areas, including ladders, rooftops, and overhead lighting accessFlexibility to work variable shifts based on business needsCommitment to working in compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation standards, policies, and proceduresPreferred Qualifications:Experience repairing and maintaining high speed packaging equipment (2 years)Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including Preventive Controls for Human Food (FDA Code of Federal Regulations) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
