Job Salary: $125k-$135k (DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Personal Injury Attorney to join our plaintiff-side practice. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of personal injury matters, advocate vigorously for injured clients, and pursue maximum recovery through negotiation and litigation. This role requires strong advocacy skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing compassionate, ethical representation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including settlement and trial preparation
• Conduct fact investigation and legal research; draft pleadings, motions, demand letters, and settlement agreements
• Handle discovery tasks including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and conducting depositions
• Evaluate liability and damages; develop case strategy and litigation plans for each matter
• Negotiate settlements with defense counsel, insurance companies, and third parties to obtain favorable client outcomes
• Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings; represent clients at hearings and trials as needed
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case updates, legal guidance, and managing expectations
• Collaborate with paralegals, experts, medical providers, and external counsel to build strong cases
• Manage case files, deadlines, and billing in accordance with firm policies and ethical obligations
• Assist with business development efforts, client intake, and community outreach as needed

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction
• Minimum of 3 years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters (or equivalent experience as an associate in a plaintiff-side practice)
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Personal Injury and Plaintiff representation (required)
• Proven litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking depositions, and motion practice
• Trial experience preferred; ability to prepare and try cases to verdict (nice to have)
• Experience with Auto Accident and premise liability cases is a strong plus (nice to have)
• Experience as an Attorney Associate or in a similar role is beneficial (nice to have)
• Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and client counseling skills
• Strong legal research, writing, and case management abilities; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and commitment to client-centered representation
