Step into a rewarding opportunity providing occupational therapy support for high school students in a thriving educational community near Minneapolis, MN. This contract assignment runs from September 8, 2026, through June 8, 2027, with a structured schedule of 35 hours per week across five days. In this role, you’ll assess student needs, create individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists. Your interventions will promote skill development, facilitate participation in classroom activities, and support each student’s journey toward greater independence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Minnesota is required
• Experience providing OT services within a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of high school students and adolescent development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration
• Ability to manage varying caseloads and adapt to student-specific needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to high school students on your caseload
• Evaluate students’ functional skills and develop tailored intervention plans
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
• Engage families in supporting students’ goals and generalizing skills beyond school
