Work Environment

We provide comprehensive administrative support, including assistance with credentialing, billing, and insurance claims, allowing you to focus on therapeutic interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gain insights into clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other best practices.
• Work collaboratively with a broad network of mental health professionals—including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists—to deliver comprehensive care and promote optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans while adhering to organizational policies and HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy.
• Engage actively in clinical supervision and ongoing training opportunities to continually refine your therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.
• Uphold ethical standards and prioritize maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPCC role will engage with a diverse client group, including adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Your ability to provide evidence-based treatments will be essential in helping clients make significant strides in their mental health journeys. By delivering targeted interventions and fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, you will play a pivotal role in supporting client recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field with a focus on mental health.
• A valid and active LPCC license to practice in California, enabling you to provide independent therapeutic care.
• Demonstrated experience practicing independently without supervision, showcasing your confidence and capability as a counselor.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of recent experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidenced-based interventions to adult clients is highly preferred.
• Experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and complex life transitions.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

Health Aura Therapy Center PLLC offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, based on your caseload and experience.
