Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems by performing regular maintenance and inspections.
• Respond promptly to service requests, addressing HVAC issues in guest rooms and public areas to maintain comfort.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experiences.
• Collaborate with team members to implement energy-efficient solutions, reducing operational costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities for compliance and future reference.
• Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED; a technical trade certificate in HVAC or refrigeration is preferred.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with commercial cooling or hospitality systems.
• Certifications: Universal CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) certification for handling refrigerants and a valid driver's license.
• Physical Skills: Ability to lift heavy gear, climb ladders, and work in tight or warm spaces.
• Soft Skills: Good communication skills and willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or on-call emergencies.
