Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,365 per week

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: ACLS Required. EPIC EMR Experience in a like unit within the last 12 months Required. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Med/Surg Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. ACU: Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. MORE INFORMATION: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit. Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime. Candidate may be required to float to our Fort Madison or Henry County campus at times. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. ACU required every other weekend rotation. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying Telemetry strips upon acceptance, and a Basic Dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on our Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
