Job Title

Registered Nurse – PCU / Progressive Care Unit (Nights)

Lee's Summit, MO | Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform and monitor drip titrations and post-cath lab care
• Operate and interpret EKG monitoring and BiPAP equipment
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Operate Welch Allyn vital signs equipment and Alaris IV pumps in daily patient care
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements of 2–3 weekend shifts per 4-week period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down nursing experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred but must be adaptable to electronic health record systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nurse experience in a PCU or progressive care setting
• Familiarity with post-cath lab patient management and drip titration protocols
• Experience operating BiPAP equipment and EKG monitoring in a clinical setting
