Description

American Traveler is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of sonography experience including Neonate/Pediatric imaging and Epic Radiant proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department with 10 exam rooms
• Patient caseload of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour shift
• Procedures include abdominal Dopplers, renal transplant, and Neonate/Pediatric ultrasound
• Uses Epic Radiant EMR
• Flexible, rotating AM/PM 8-hour shifts scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance
• Weekend availability required as needed
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar sonography setting; 3+ years preferred
• Experience with abdominal Dopplers, renal transplant ultrasound, and Neonate/Pediatric imaging required
• ARDMS and BLS certifications required
• Epic Radiant experience required
• Active MA state license required if applicable
• Valid driver's license required
• Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager-level or above (not a supervisor title), one must be within the last 12 months and the other within 3 years; references from other travelers are not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, Doppler, renal transplant, and Neonate/Pediatric studies
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• One reference from a prior travel or temporary assignment is preferred
• Skills checklist must be completed within the last year for consideration
